It has been a while and I apologize. Life has been a little crazy lately...I'm sure you can relate. I had a lot of fun at the release party for Kacey Monroe. She's received some awesome reviews. I wanted to share some great news with you! Copper Lilies is officially an award winning novel. I received the news and an excellent review. "Copper Lillies is based mainly upon Nora’s experiences, but there are a wealth of other characters that bring depth to the story and shine a light upon this tragic time. Bradon Nave writes with an elegance and grace that will have readers angry one minute and laughing the next. Further, he opens reader’s hearts to the fear and deep sadness of the loss of young life and dear friends. Copper Lillies carries an extraordinarily powerful message, but Bradon Nave has interwoven this message into the story in a way that keeps readers entertained and turning pages. Some of the characters are only around for short periods of time, but it represents what happens in life sometimes, especially during the AIDS epidemic. A person might come into one’s life for only a blip before they are gone again. That doesn’t necessarily lessen the impact that they can have on each other. Copper Lillies is exceptionally well-written and highly recommended."
Check out the full review here. In other news...I'm excited to announce that I am officially working on a collaborative effort with Author Deborah Roach. This book is going to be killer. More news coming soon. And I have all but wrapped up the Before we Fractured series. As soon as I have a release date for Duke Austin, you all will be the first to know. Just an FYI...if you want copies of Crush Not the Lilacs and/or The Year the Lake Went Low, you should get them before June is over ;) Hope it's a great week. Happy reading. Bradon
